Description:

Responsible for the staffing and coordination of various retail merchandising assignments within a defined region of the country. This requires setting clear expectations of our merchandisers, so that we meet both the quality and quantity execution requirements of our clients. Most District Merchandising Managers manage a team of 50-100 merchandisers, so excellent organizational and management skills are required.

This position would work out of a home office, but also goes out in the field to work with reps and do audits. We offer an excellent benefits package including medical, dental, 401K, vacation, Short Term Disability and Long Term Disability, & company paid holidays.

Requirements





· Must have excellent verbal and written communication skills.

· Must be able to perform all required duties with minimum supervision.

· Excellent problem solving & time management skills.

· Must be detailed oriented and have excellent organizational skills.

· Ability to multi-task in a fast paced environment.

· Ideal candidate will have a database of qualified merchandisers.

· Minimize rescheduling of assignments to avoid double payment of merchandisers.

· Coach non-performing merchandisers to perform and terminate services as necessary.

· High School Diploma required - Bachelor Degree preferred.

· 3+ years retail/merchandising and/or consumer package goods.

· 2+ years management experience – prefer in a retail environment.

· Proficient in Microsoft Office Word, Excel & Outlook.
